In September 1999 I began to work in Prof. Di Nola's group to prepare my thesis.
I performed Molecular Dynamics Simulations of HIV-1 aspartyl protease with inhibitors.
I took my degree in chemistry cum laude on February 14, 2001,
discussing
the thesis: "Molecular Dynamics Simulations of HIV-1
Protease and the complex HIV-1
Protease - inhibitor ; study of the native form and some
mutants".
In years 2001-2004 I worked in this laboratory as a PhD student in Biophysics.
I took my PhD on Genuary 28, 2005 discussing the thesis
"Conformational Fluctuations in Proteins: a Molecular Dynamics based
study".
(you can find the pdf version here)
Currently I am collaborating with Dr. R. Benigni and Dr. A. Giuliani
in the "Istituto Superiore di Sanita'" of Rome.
