Scientific Education

2006 November - Ph.D. fellowship in Biophysics at the Chemistry Department of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

2007 June - Admitted to the official register of biologists (Abilitato alla professione di biologo) by passing an examination at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

2006 June - Degree (Laurea) in Biology, specialization in Biotechnology (101/110), at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
Thesis: "Metodologie innovative per analisi biomolecolare di DNA basate su microarray di fotorivelatori in silicio amorfo".
Supervisors: Prof. Ernesto Di Mauro, Prof. Domenico Caputo.
The results reported in thesis have been presentated at the 11th Annual Conference of the Italian Association of Sensors and  Microsystems AISEM 2006 (Associazione Italiana Sensori e Microsistemi) with the poster "Detection of labeled DNA based on amorphous silicon devices".
